1500 Calorie Low Carb Diet

The 1500 calorie low carb diet is based on offering you the nutrients you need without overusing your slow metabolism. In the 1500 calorie low carb diet you can still eat the foods you enjoy. The difference is the moderation you apply to the 1500 calorie low carb diet.
Here is an example of what you might eat for breakfast: oatmeal, coffee or tea, juice, egg whites. You have fiber, fruit juice, and protein. You are also either drinking coffee or tea, which by itself has no calories. The lunch menu would be something like tuna salad, with fresh fruit and vegetables, coffee or tea. Dinner can be chicken, potatoes, fruit, and coffee or tea. In each meal you are getting about 400 calories that allow you to get two to three snacks a day, like yogurt.
The 1500 calorie low carb diet is not cutting out carbohydrates, but simply taking a way the majority of the carbs you traditionally eat. Tuna salad is often had on bread with 19 carbohydrates. By cutting the bread from the meal, you are reducing the high-energy food that comes with the bad fat.
The 1500 calorie low carb diet is designed to give you foods that will increase your metabolism so that you burn the calories you eat. Too many carbs makes your metabolism work harder, thus it is less effective. The fact that you are reducing your normal intake by 500 is nothing because you are eating better in the 1500 calorie low carb diet. By eating better you will not feel as hungry, so you will not need as many calories.
