British Heart Foundation 3 Day Diet

Some people consider the British Heart Foundation 3 Day Diet to be a fad. It has been around for many years and is not supported by the British Heart Foundation. The claim is that this diet can help a person lose 10 pounds in just three days. You will find that the British Heart Foundation 3 Day Diet is only 700 calories per day, which is incredibly low, so before undertaking this diet a physician should be consulted.

The menu doesn't vary for the entire three days, so you aren't getting any variety. The British Heart Foundation 3 Day Diet doesn't have any snacks, so the only food you will get is at your regular mealtime. If you are a very active person, eating only 700 calories in a day won't be enough.

Breakfast on the British Heart Foundation 3 Day Diet consists of five "snacks" biscuits or dry crackers, one slice of cheddar cheese, one cup of coffee, tea or water and one small apple. You aren't allowed any milk or sweetener in your beverages. One assumes that you can drink at least eight glasses of water per day, but there is nothing in the diet that tells you to do so.

The British Heart Foundation 3 Day Diet lunch is even skimpier. You are allowed one hardboiled egg, one piece of dry toast and one cup of black coffee, tea or water. No fruit or vegetables are included at lunchtime. The egg will give you some protein and if you use whole grain bread, you will add a benefit there.

When you sit down to dinner, you will be eating the most food of the day. In the dinner menu for the British Heart Foundation 3 Day Diet, you will get one cup of tuna, one cup of beetroot, one half of a melon, one cup of cauliflower, one cup of black coffee, tea or water and a half cup of diet vanilla ice cream. The British Heart Foundation 3 Day Diet seems to feed you less during the day when you are expending more energy, so check with a doctor before using this diet.
