High Calorie Low Fat Diet
For years, we've been told that the average person should have a daily caloric intake of 2,000 calories. However, there are some body types that may increase their weight too much by eating 2,000 calories a day. Instead, these individuals are put on a low calorie diet. If you do not have to worry as much about the calories you eat but instead the fat content, you might consider a high calorie low fat diet.
A high calorie low fat diet will help you maintain or lose weight slowly by offering you healthier foods. To explain this, let's take a look at the benefits of a high calorie low fat diet.
First, consider your daily fat intake. You can keep a food journal and use it to look for places to lower the fat in your diet. Some items to look for include foods with high carbohydrate content, red meat, mayo and cream-based sauces and dressings. Also, look out for high-fat dairy products.
You can find numerous low fat products at the grocery and restaurants. Look for lower-fat dressings, lean meats and reduced-fat breads, crackers and cereals. Instead of purchasing white bread, buy whole wheat with less fat.
The thing that confuses people on a low fat diet is that it is not necessarily low in calories. In fact, most diets will be a high calorie low fat diet.
You may find your high calorie low fat diet is keeping you at the 2,000 calories a day, but you are still losing weight. This is due to eating the proper fat content in your meal. You are no longer overeating foods with bad fat. Instead, in the high calorie low fat diet you are eating healthy meals.
There are more than 5,000 low fat foods on the market. You can shop for the words low fat or check out the nutritional facts on the box. Do not worry if you find high calories. Instead, remember that you are on a high calorie low fat diet in which you will lose weight because you are cutting out potentially dangerous fatty foods.

This is incorrect. CALORIES are what affects weight. You must burn more calories than you take in to lose weight. If you consume more than you burn, you will gain weight. You could eat 3,000 calories of vegetables and if you only burn 2,000, you'll gain weight.

I recently found out the reason I am always so tired during the day is because my calorie intake is to low, yet I am slowly gaining weight because my fat intake is to high! I need a low fat high calorie diet to become more energetic and healthier by losing the extra weight. This article is right!
