In addition, you should eat 3 to 5 servings of fresh or frozen vegetables without salt or fat and 2 to 4 servings of fresh, frozen, canned, or dried fruits.
On the low fat low cholesterol diet, you should drink beverages such as, water, 100% juice and decaffeinated tea. For those with a sweet tooth, you can have syrup, honey, jam and fruit flavored gelatin. You should be sure to use no more than 6 teaspoons of unsaturated oils per day such as, olive, canola, peanut, or soybean oils.
