Cracker Barrel Nutritional Information

Dan Evins who believed that a convenient and trustworthy business was important for travelers conceived the idea that tired travelers would appreciate a convenient place to have a rest, a good meal some candy for the children when they stopped for gasoline. This marked the blueprint and the original Cracker Barrel Old Country Store location on Highway 109 in Lebanon, Tennessee in the late 1960s. From these humble beginnings the company has grown to what it is now.

Tim ·

Why does the chicken and dumplings have two different fat and calorie contents for the same 14oz serving?

Trish ·

One 14oz serving is just the dumping's and the other 14oz serving has boiled chicken tenders added.

T R Williams ·

My wife is restricted on sodium why no information

Jamie ·

Is there anything gluten free on the menu?

Dee Roberts ·

Please add sodium info to the menu. thank you

Delores ·

I love Cracker Barrel's foods but am on a low-sodium diet so I need to know what foods Cracker Barrel has that I can eat ! thanks

Roger ·

any idea why Cracker Barrel refuses to publish their Nutrition info and where is the info on Sodium?

NOELLE ·

IS THERE ANY WHERE I CAN GO TO PRINT OUT THE NUTRITIONAL FACTS FOR YOUR ENTIRE MENU?AND IF SO WHERE?

jack ·

please list sodium contents

John H ·

Same questions about sodium content. I got the chicken and dumplings tonight, then saw there were TWO different counts given on that meal. Many people need to know sodium content in order to eat out. Had not been to Cracker Barrel since April, and at least the place is now smoke-free ! Finally !!

Becky D ·

We have a type 1 diabetic child in the household and need all menu items with carb counts please. Thanks!

Lynne W ·

I have been trying to find out how many calories in a side of corn. Anyone have that info.? What about the calories in the desserts, like the Apple Pecan Streusel (not sure if that is spelled correctly).

sara m ·

I also have a type 1 diabetic child. I'm trying to search in advance to know what I can feed her and then have proper carb count for medication any help would be great!

kay McInnes ·

Doing weight watcher really could use the fiber content as well

Dee ·

Please include the fiber count in your nutritional information for menu items.

Chelsey ·

I work for a cracker barrel and recently asked a manager for full nutritional information on something i had eaten. He REFUSED to tell me. Good luck finding any info from them.

Jean ·

Your nutritional information stites STINK. You are not at all helpful. I will not eat at your establishment again. I was told everything was on line. NOT!!! I found green beans and carrots. Not steak not desserts not baked potato. Also, there are no fiber counts.

Anne ·

I found nutrition info for a few menu items, but they are hard to find. Some sites want $9.95 per month...no can do....most sites are free

Thane Farmer ·

Please give us the sodium content of your menu. Thanks.

Joyce ·

Would like to see more menu items on this list. I like the food must be selective about fat content.

linda ·

Have to have Sodium info.

LONNIE ·

YOUR NUTRITION INFORMATION IS SO HARD TO TRACK, NOTHING IN ANY KIND OF ORDER, I BELIEVE THIS IS DONE TO CONFUSE YOU MORE THAN HELP YOU. WHY CANNED YOU JUST HAVE A REAL LIST OF ALL THE ITEMS IN YOUR STORE IN ALPHA ORDER WITH A SEARCH ATTACHED TO IT????

Robert ·

The nutrition information listed is well below par,the complete menu is not their their is no sodium, sugar, trans fat,sat fat info available I love the cracker barrel but will not eat their if I don't know what I am eating

aimee ·

I agree with most of the people above. I went to cracker barrel for lunch and ended up ordering only black coffee while my partner ate a complete meal. I am very disappointed with cracker barel. I will not go there again anytime soon. We have to call corporate offices to make suggestions as well. Unless consumersexpress to them these needs, thay will continue to be vague and unhelpful

Suzi ·

Must have sodium count....congestive heart failure who loves Cracker Barrel!

San ·

How can I get sodium content on items on menu?

Sue B. ·

MUST have sodium levels so I can continue to enjoy my favorite restaurant. Low salt critical due to diagnoses of Chronic Kidney Disease..give up Cracker Barrel or take Dialysis..No brainer.

John Campbell ·

Your nutritional information is terrible. I can't even find out the info on sausage gravy. I won't be back again you can count onthat

Fay ·

I'm a heart failure patient & on an extremely low sodium diet. Can you get & add those nutritional values, pleeeeze..

Pamela ·

My family loves to eat at cracker barrel! Need to know sodium content due to a heart condition.

Ron ·

8/7/11 They must feel that a nutrition menu would be bad for business

Ollie Kronk ·

The wife and i eat at cracker barrel alot. could i have sodium content of your menu? I'm on a 2000mg of sodium.

TR2 ·

CB Does NOT publish nutritional value ANywhere! Does this not raise a flag? What's to hide...hum?

Liz ·

My husband in on a low sodium diet. We are unable to even consider eating at your restaurant until you provide sodium content on your menu. We travel a lot and you had been a convenient stop where we could pull in with our rv,

John H. ·

With so many people needing to know the sodium content in foods , why doesn't Cracker Barrel have a nutrition chart showing this item to us ??

Carolyn ·

I need the sodium content as well! Otherwise I will have to stop eating at Cracker Barrel.

Susan ·

need sodium content of your foods

sam attorney ·

is cracker barrel hiding something by not divulging salt contents is there a lawsuit coming over a stroke some unsuspecting custumer has had?

Amber ·

i work at cracker barrel as a sever and although there food might taste good, most everything is very unhealthy. They probably don't want you to know how bad it is. Cornbread muffins are cooked with bacon grease. and all the vegetable from the carrots to corn are cooked with liquid margarine. just think if your trying to eat healthy ou show eat health, raw fruits and vegtablees, not bisuts and county fried steak...i mean really.

Cindy ·

Every other restaurant has available nutrition info, why doesn't Cracker Barrel ! Not happy about it !!!

Connie ·

Would love to have some sodium facts please.

craig ·

Working backward from 400 total cal in tenderloins with green beans and corn the corn is 190 calories.

Lynda Immel ·

Please list the sodium content

Lisa ·

Please post the fat grams, too!

Jo Marie ·

Sodium counts plwase

Darrell G ·

When something like sodium is missing you have to think there is something to hide.

Heather ·

Just eat at Outback - they have everything listed on their website for FREE!!

Bob Rogers ·

Please add sodium to menu.

tom ·

why not publish the sodium info?

elaine ·

No fiber no sodium, minimal information on menu. Will not eat there anymore.

Short ·

I need to know sodium contents of your menu.Whereare they?

Curren ·

Wonderful food, but where are the complete nutritional numbers

Dianne ·

sodium and fiber content please!

Karen ·

Love Cracker Barrel but can't eat anywhere without complete nutrition information due to diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease

Kathie ·

Need Sugar content too!

Joyce ·

So sorry we can no longer include Cracker Barrel for ding out since we are on a restricted sodium diet and can't find that info for your restaurant

April ·

If it tastes too good to be true, it usually is! I have lost almost 200 lbs. on my own. I won't eat anything that I don't know the nutritional value! They don't tell you because they don't want to lose your business! You are better off making your own meal at home! Almost all they have is full of FAT! Even the veggies! Real veggies aren't shiney from grease and a dull color! Just say NO! Your health should be your priority! Once they print a menu, if ever, then eat there if it meets your needs! IF everyone stopped eating there until they did, they'd come off of their nutrition info!

Samuel Grider ·

I am A southerner from Birmingham, Alabama, I love good home Cooking, I now live in Buckeye, Arizona and plan to eat a Cracker Barrel very soon for the good food, the nutrition worries are not goingb to be a consideration for me as I won't be eating there everday. I can cook and will cook at home the other times. I long for some good, fried, and greasy food for a change. See ya soon.

R Kern ·

Ate at Cracker Barrel, came home to log food into my daily log. Guess I don't eat at cracker barrel any more as no nutrition info is available. Sorry Cracker Barrel you loose so I can.

Randy Campbell ·

Cracker Barrel has a very high sodium content in all of their food. May as well eat Chinese food. Their corn muffins and even their slaw are very high in sodium. I won't eat there again.

Ginnie ·

Need info on salt content.

Joseph ·

Take a lesson from Subway. They publish everything anyone would need on all their menu items (cal, fat, sat fat, cholesterol, sodium carbs). Also Chik-Fil-A was honest with me and admitted that all their items are high sodium. One of the salads could be made acceptable if the chicken was left out.

Tery ·

Wish they would list sodium content

Perry ·

We don't go to CB because if they can't list Nutrition info on their site...THEY DON'T CARE about those who have restrictive dietary requirement! We don't go to any place for food if they DON'T list nutrition info. Cracker Barrel is one of them.

LJ ·

In this day, it is shocking to find a big chain with NO nutritional information on its website. It is not like people are going to stop eating their if they knew how many calories they were eating.

Jenn ·

Please add sodium content

Bev netherly ·

Love Cracker Barrel but my husband has heart failure and can eat there because you do not list sodium.. Mg. please list everything Thanks

Cindi ·

Sodium info is part of nutrition. What is the purpose of not including the facts?

dennis ·

Some of this info is wrong I am type 1 diabetic for 25 years and the corn muffin info would be the info on 2 muffins not 1... you could really get some of us in a bad spot if you don't check your source better. Some people want nutrition information to diet which is great but some of us our lives depend on it.

Donna ·

I don't think this is a real Cracker Barrel site.

Kay. ·

What about sugar content.

PAM IS gf ·

ANY GLUTEN FREE FOOD???????

Jane ·

Family member is on a renal diet..any information on your choices that would qualify would help!

Barbara ·

My son has liver disease; must have SODIUM content of food items. Can't eat at Cracker Barrel anymore. What are you hiding? Everything must be VERY HIGH IN SODIUM!!! WAKE UP!! WE DON'T NEED ALL THE SALT AND SUGAR!!!

Geri ·

I am on a cholesterol-free diet; does the corn muffin have cholesterol?

Ed ·

Sodium content can be found if you ask for the nutritional value menu. I recently had to go low sodium diet.

BB ·

Like many others have posted, I need sodium information. I guess I must simply avoid Cracker Barrel.

Randy ·

Certainly you people asking for sodium content disclosures are ignorant. First off, Cracker Barrel KNOWS that IF they actually told you how much sodium is in their foods...ALL their foods you would never eat there again. Stop and think, you know it is full of sodium as with any foods. If you want to know actual food sodium levels, just know NOT to eat at Cracker Barrel.

Karole ·

Insulin dependent diabetics need to know carbohydrate counts to determine their insulin needs before each meal for every item. Why aren't carbohydrate counts included for every item on the menu?

Barbara ·

Am on low sodium diet, your list is the worst of any restraunt, even Wendy's and McDonalds have a complete list.

Peggy ·

Please add sodium content to your nutrition list. It has gotten to the point a person on a low sodium diet can't eat out anymore.

carla garcia ·

I agree with many of the above comments on sodium content. Absolutely essential for heart patients!

Suzanne ·

Have heart failure and need to know the sodium content of your foods

patti Alter ·

I really need info on the sale content in all foods, I can taste that it is high. But that doen't help.

Karri ·

Need to know sodium content in food

Allison ·

I work for cracker barrel.you guys have to understand this article is not published by cracker barrel.most of these I know are not right because I know the majority of the ingredients we use. Please do don't base what you eat from there off of what this website says. If you are on a low sodium diet you should steer clear of pretty much all of our cooked vegetables. Your best bets are the Apple slices (not the fried apples) fruit cup steamed broccoli or mixed vegetables which only have olive oil and garlic seasoning on them a salad baked sweet potato, baked potato(as long as you don't eat the skin) fries we don't salt them at all, I know that's not much but we are a country store with old school cooking styles. Any other cooked vegetable or sides we have one serving only is probably over the salt intake you can have if your on a low sodium diet and by the way we add sugar in the carrots so sugar content is way more than 10g a serving. Hope this helps

Gail Ross ·

We eat at Cracker Barrel weekly and manage to find healthy foods. Other websites contain the nutritional values for Cracker Barrel. Check them out before you go.

brenda ·

need more info like on sodium content

Tara ·

You can ask for a nutrition menu in the restaurant. It will list the sodium in certain foods, the fat content in others and the calories in yet others. It is very aggravating, but you can get a little info from it . I guess you steer clear from the rest of the items on the menu.

noel ·

Can't find salad dressing calories

Mary ·

Why not list when you use MSG in the items. As for the salt , after years of being on salt free as a heart patient I now have to take 3 salt pills a day.

Betty ·

I need to have the sodium content for your menu. Cannot eat at cracker barrel until I have this information.

Joni ·

They will lose more business by posting nutrition. Most people will still go and have an excuse to over eat or eat foods not on their restricted diet.

WILDA CHANG ·

You stopped placing the one cup, half cup guide on your plastic wrapper. Now I really cannot tell where is half cup of cheese. Will you consider to put this bacck please?

Mary ·

Seriouly, is there a way to find sodium content?? We used to eat at Cracker Barrel weekly but since husband's recent CHF diagnosis, we can only go to Restuarant where we can plan his meals ahead ...please respond to me, even privately is fine.

C Adams ·

If they don't list the sodium count, which I have to count, there's too much sodium in the food.

Lois ·

Along with so many others at this site, I need to know sodium content, please.

Jon ·

Why is everyone jumping on Cracker Barrel, I eat out all the time, very few have all the information you people are asking for. I think their menu would have to double in size.
