A Tasty Recipe For Barbequed Sesame - Garlic Steak

20 Ounces

Flank steak, cut into sixteen 1/4 inch thick slices

2 Tablespoons

Soy sauce, low sodium

2 Tablespoons

Tahini

1 Tablespoon

Red wine

1 Tablespoon

Fresh ginger root, chopped

2 Cloves

Garlic, minced

  1. To prepare marinade, in a small bowl, combine soy sauce, tahini, red wine, ginger root and garlic. Set aside.
  2. Place flank steak in an 8 inch pan. Pour marinade over steak, toss to coat well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour, turning occasionally.
  3. Prepare barbecue and place grill rack 5 inches from coals. If using bamboo skewers soak in water 15 minutes.
  4. Remove steak from marinade and thread 2 slices onto each skewer. Grill steak until done to taste, 5 to 7 minutes, turning frequently. Brush with remaining marinade while grilling.
