Green pepper, chopped |

- Cook beef, onion, and green pepper in saucepan until beef is lightly browned. Drain fat.
- Mix in remaining ingredients.
- Heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover, and cook slowly until flavours are blended, about 30 minutes, stir as needed.
- Remove bay leaf.
- Serve over cooked pasta
Note: 2 cloves of minced fresh garlic can be used in place of powder.
