Plain yogurt, low-fat

Fresh ginger, minced

1/2 Teaspoon

Garlic, minced

4 Teaspoons

Lemon juice

Pinch of

Black pepper, freshly ground

1/2 Teaspoon

Paprika

4 Teaspoons

Parsley, chopped

4 Pods

Cardamom, crushed

  1. Grate cucumber, drain well and discard liquid.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and chill well before serving.

Use this sauce straight away as it does not keep.
