How To Make Chicken Breast With Vegetables Julienne

Chicken breasts, boned and skinned

Pinch of

Black pepper

4 Teaspoons

Safflower oil

4 Teaspoons

Margarine

1 Clove

Garlic, minced

Onion, thinly sliced

Carrot, thinly sliced

Red bell pepper, seeded, and thinly sliced

3 Tablespoons

Dry white wine

2/3 Cup

Chicken broth

  1. Season chicken with pepper to taste. Heat oil and margarine in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sautee until cooked through, about 8 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and, in the same pan, sautee garlic and onion until translucent. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour vegetables and sauce over the chicken and serve.
