A Tasty Turkey A La King Recipe

Mushrooms, sliced

Green pepper, diced

Margarine, lowfat

Chicken bouillon or broth

Turkey, cooked, diced

1 Pod

Pimiento, chopped

4 Slices

Whole wheat bread, toasted

Slivered almonds

  1. Saut? the mushrooms and green pepper in the margarine for 5 minutes. Blend in the flour and seasonings, and cook over low heat, stirring, until bubbly. Remove from the heat, and add the cream and bouillon.
  2. Return to the heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add the turkey and pimiento. Heat thoroughly. Serve over toast, topped with almond slivers.
