Are Turkey - Vegetable Burgers Healthy?

Ground turkey

1 Cup

Oats, uncooked

3/4 Cup

Onion, finely chopped

3/4 Cup

Red or green pepper, finely chopped

1/2 Cup

Zucchini, finely chopped

1/4 Cup

Catsup

2 Cloves

Garlic, crushed

Whole grain rolls, split, toasted

Vegetable cooking spray

  1. In a bowl, combine turkey, oats, onion, red or green pepper, zucchini, garlic, and catsup. Mix well then shape into six burgers.
  2. Lightly spray rack of broiler pan with vegetable cooking spray. Place burgers on rack, broil 8 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  3. Serve on rolls. Garnish with lettuce and tomato, if desired.
