How Healthy Is Greek Salad?

Romaine lettuce, torn

1 Cup

Cucumber, thinly sliced

1 Medium

Tomato, chopped

1 Small

Purple onion, thinly sliced

1/4 Cup

Black olives

2 Tablespoons

Crumbled feta cheese

2 Tablespoons

Dry white wine

2 Tablespoons

Lemon juice

2 Teaspoons

Olive oil

1 Tablespoon

Fresh parsley, minced

1 Teaspoon

Dried whole oregano

1/4 Teaspoon

Black pepper

  1. Combine lettuce, cucumber, tomato and onion in a large bowl, toss gently. Place feta cheese and olives on top of the salad.
  2. Combine wine, lemon juice, oil, parsley, oregano and pepper in a small bowl, stir well and pour over salad, tossing gently to coat.
