Nutritional Information For Tomato - Beef Salad Canton

Nutrition information per serving:

6 Ounces

Uncooked large shell pasta

1 Can (14 oz)

Stewed tomatoes

3 Tablespoons

Red wine vinegar

2 Tablespoons

Vegetable oil

1 Tablespoon

Light soy sauce

1/2 Pound

Thinly sliced, cooked beef steak

1/2 Cup

Green onions, sliced

2 Tablespoons

Chopped cilantro or parsley

1 Tablespoon

Toasted sesame seeds

  1. Cook pasta as package directs, rinse and drain.
  2. Drain tomatoes, reserving 1/4 cup juice. Combine reserved juice, vinegar, oil and soy sauce.
  3. Slice steak into 1/2-inch pieces. In a bowl mix steak, pasta, onions, tomatoes and cilantro. Pour dressing over and toss.
  4. Place in refrigerator until slightly chilled, garnish with sesame seeds and serve. (For a spicier salad add ? teaspoon pepper sauce.)
