Girls Height Weight Chart
Girls develop faster than boys, and a majority start puberty at the ages of 8 to 13 while their make counterparts develop secondary features from the age of 10 onwards. Girls develop their secondary features between these ages; and as a parent, it is important to monitor your girl child's growth using the girls' height weight chart. In actuality, the growth of your child in height and weight should not worry you but the speed at which it happens. If by the time your child has reached the ages of twelve and she has not developed any of these features, you need to be concerned. If it runs in the family, there is nothing to be worried about. There are those families whose girls start menstruating later than the age of 13 and this is normal but anything past 18 is abnormal.
A height and weight chart for your child is dependent on many things but genetics play a major role. Parents who are chubby tend to give birth to their own kind, and this means chubby children. This is almost always the case with tall parents. A height weight chart will also be influenced by the food which your child takes. Ensure she is taking all the right foods in the right quantities. The secondary sexual developments of your daughter will be measured against the rate at which her colleagues in school develop. This is the point in life where your child may develop self esteem issues. Support your daughter if she has weight issues and help her develop a positive self image
Teenagers tend to eat a lot and as a parent, the height and weight chart should be an indicator if your child is not the right weight for her BMI. There are specific weights for specific heights; and if your child goes above or below the weight required for her height, it is time to make adjustments. Exercise is good to strengthen her body and to give her the weight required for her height. If possible, you can get the advice of a health care expert on how to draw up the height weight chart for your daughter. Help your daughter to develop a positive image of herself; help her to develop a healthy lifestyle so that she does not have negative self image issues. It is going to be one of the best starts in life you can ever give your daughter as she enters adulthood.
