Dr.BJ Devine formulated a formula which calculates the ideal body weight of your body, for men the formula is the sum of fifty and 2.3 kilo grams per inches for heights over five feet; for women, it is the sum of 45.5 and 2.3 kilo grams per inches over five feet. There is also another formula to find if you are burning enough calories that you are taking in, it is the subtraction of the sum of your body metabolic rate and activity per day to the amount of calories of food consumed.
