Lack of physical activity is the major cause of obesity, in women obesity could be an after effect of pregnancy. Some ways of preventing obesity is proper dieting, effective exercises, weight lose sessions with the doctor, proper medication, and in serious cases, surgery. There were many famous personalities who had obesity, during the renaissance times; obesity was considered a sign of wealth. The sad part is that children to suffer from this dreadful medical disorder.
In order to find out if your weight level is in obesity or not, there are some basic charts called the obesity charts, which indicate the weight of a person with obesity for that particular height. First, you need to find out your height and then find the weight of the corresponding weight. There are many obesity charts which are available over the World Wide Web, some websites even offer you some digitalized stuff like you can enter your height and weight and it will calculate if you are normal or over weighted or in obesity. Some basic scales in an obesity chart are as follows; this is a measure of the obesity weight for the height. For four feet and five inches to eleven inches the weight is 138 pounds to 148 pounds, for five feet to five feet five inches it is 153 pounds to 180 pounds, for five feet six inches to five feet eleven, the weight is 186 pounds to 215 pounds, for six feet the obesity weight is 221 pounds.
