3 Day Diet To Lose 10 Pounds

The 3 day diet to lose 10 pounds is a very low calorie diet and quick weight loss program intended to help people jumpstart long-term weight loss programs or slim down quickly for an upcoming event such as a wedding or a cruise.

The 3 day diet to lose 10 pounds can be followed as directed below. Specified substitutions are also allowed while on the 3 day diet to lose 10 pounds. The following show the original 3 day diet to lose 10 pounds. Substitutions to the 3 day diet to lose 10 pounds are listed below after the original diet.

Day One

Breakfast: Black coffee, water, or tea; half of a grapefruit or pink grapefruit juice; and one slice of toast with 1 or 2 tablespoons of peanut butter

Lunch: Black coffee, water, or tea; 1/2 cup of water-packed tuna; and one slice of dry toast

Dinner: Black coffee, water, or tea; 3 oz lean meat; 1 cup green beans; 1 cup beets; 1 cup vanilla ice cream; and one small apple

Day Two

Breakfast: Black coffee, water, or tea; one egg, any style; one banana (some versions say 1/2 banana); and one slice of dry toast

Lunch: Black coffee, water, or tea; 1 cup of cottage cheese; and five saltine crackers

Dinner: Black coffee, water, or tea; two hot dogs; 1/2 cup carrots; 1 cup broccoli (or cabbage); one banana (some versions say 1/2 banana); and 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream

Day Three

Breakfast: Black coffee, water, or tea; five saltine crackers; one egg (or one slice cheddar cheese); and one 4-oz glass of apple juice

Lunch: Black coffee, water, or tea; one hard-boiled egg; one small apple; and one slice of dry toast

Dinner: Black coffee, water, or tea; 1 cup tuna, chicken, or turkey; 1 cup cauliflower or green beans; 1 cup beets; 1 cup cantaloupe or one small apple; and 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream

Substitutions to the 3 day diet to lose 10 pounds include - an orange instead of grapefruit, tuna instead of cottage cheese, frozen yogurt instead of ice cream, cauliflower or green beans instead of broccoli, beets instead of carrots, and a slice of toast instead of crackers.

After you have completed the 3 day diet to lose 10 pounds, you should eat a low calorie diet so you do not regain the weight you just lost. If you have additional weight to lose, resume the diet after taking a four day break.

Well the diet works I lost 7 pounds but I did add a seasoning to my food, I probably should have had more water but I was excited about the overall results... Of course I will rest and repeat until I am where I need to be u will also add daily exercise if I have the energy lol

This diet plan works well, I suggest you drink a lot of water during and in between meals. You may not lose 10 pounds, but it helps jump start your metabolism, and confidence that you can lose weight!! My husband lost 8 pounds and I lost only 3, but I was very ok with that. We will try this diet again in 4 days????We were both very happy with the results!!!

You cannot substitute any of the items and you must eat everything that is listed. You can add alittle salt and pepper but that's it. It will not work if you substitute anything because all the foods listed work together in a certain way

I don't think I like some of the foods but I really want to lose the weight. Some times you got to stop making picky excuses and step up. No one is forcing you to diet. Asking to change this and that says a great deal about a person. Do you talk about all the things your going to do to make you a person you want to be or do you just do it without needing a crowed to cheer you on. Your body is your responsibility, and you only get one body and no one feels what you feel so what you do with your body is up to you. Do some self study if you have to.

I did the diet 98% as stated and lost 8 lbs. I had a couple of extra saltine crackers. Other than that I know it works. I will do it again in 4 days. Awesome Sauce.

OK - started the diet Wednesday - Thursday morning I had lost .8 pounds I weighed in this morning - Friday morning - I've lost 2.6 pounds I know it's not 10 pounds in 3 days . . . I still have 1 more day to weigh in But losing 2.6 pounds in 2 days is REALLY good, I think Again . . . not 10 I'll chime in tomorrow morning when I weigh in and give the final report Nothing against this diet, but I plan to start back on Weight Watchers when this is done. Losing lots of weight in a short amount of time never really works well for me (or anybody). Weight Watchers is good because I tend to make healthier choices. When I can eat a bag of M&Ms or have a big salad, some chicken and even a few M&Ms . . . I'll opt for the second. I haven't been on Weight Watchers since I had the total thyroidectomy, so I don't know how well that will work now either, but, if nothing else, I'll be eating healthier . . . so that's a win for me either way

After 3 days, I lost 5.8 pounds. Not bad. Almost 2 pounds a day. I'm pleasantly surprised. I must note this is the first diet of ANY kind I've been on in quite some time. I have been eating pretty much anything & everything. It would make sense if I cut back my food intake this drastically, I would lose weight. I also only drank 3 bottles of water each day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

anyone use this to get off the last 10 stubborn pounds? Company extended stay, very hard to try now. It is my choice, they don't have to agree--- starting in the morning. Wish me luck.
